Namah Shivaya Yoga Training Presents Women’s Retreat

During this Women’s retreat Sheri will share her wisdom, knowledge, and love of yoga with you. She will skillfully guide you through a daily practice that offers balance and harmony. The Food will be fresh, healthy, and vegetarian. This retreat will support you in your health and well-being body, mind and spirit.

Yoga In The Pine Retreat Center is located in the beautiful piney woods of East TX. They are in Mineola, which is North of Tyler about 2 hours drive from Dallas.

Cost: $199, includes meals, lodging, seminar and kirtan. Enjoy an afternoon nature walk on Saturday, as we explore the beauty of east Texas. Whether you’re an aspiring or seasoned teacher or a serious yoga practitioner, you’ll want to make sure to join us for an inspiring weekend as you discover how yoga can support you through every stage of your life.

In addition to asana and meditation, lecture topics will include:

On Saturday Evening Kirtan with Rudra Das Kirtan is a devotional practice, a limb of Yoga, and a mental and spiritual outlook. Kirtan allows us to open our heart and mind to become one with the Divine.

Sheri Cherokee, MBA, E-RYT 500, MH Sheri Cherokee, Co- Founder of Namah Shivaya Yoga Teacher Training, has been practicing yoga for 38 years and began teaching yoga over 28 years ago. She has continually furthered her education in many areas related to the yoga way of life. Sheri is a registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500 level), holds a Bachelors degree in Body Science, two degrees in Herbal Medicine, and a Masters in Business Administration. In addition, Sheri holds two certifications in Ayurveda and travels to India annually to further advance her understanding of the ancient practice of yoga. Sheri is experienced in a wide variety of yoga styles, such as, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Tantric Yoga, Vinyasa Style Yoga, Heated Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, and the Yoga Sutras. Practicing yoga has brought Sheri so much joy and it is her mission is to inspire, encourage, and improve the lives of those who would like to embark on the path to better health and spiritual awareness.

Directions From I-35:
Travel east on Ft. Worth Drive as it turns into Carroll Blvd. Turn right on Hickory St. Turn left on Locust St. We are located in the Rudra Center immediately on your left once you pass Congress St. (directly across the street from the Greenhouse Restaurant parking lot). You can park in the front or turn left on Pauline St. and park in the back parking lot. Follow the "Yoga Hut" directional signs through the garden area to our back door.

Paid parking is available in the Trammell Crow Center Garage. On weekends, the Harwood entrance to the garage is closed but the garage can be accessed from Olive street.

Metered parking can be found on Harwood, Ross and Olive streets.

Paid surface lots can be found on Ross and Olive streets.
